Calender Machine OPTIM-PRO

The calendering machine is a textile product used to finish, polish and coat textile fabrics. The areas of use are very large and are very frequently preferred. Can be designed in different forms. Things that determine them are demands. Designed differently according to the need.

The calendering machine has at least 2 cylinders. The number of these rollers can be up to 12. These rollers are very heavily produced. Because they need to give a high pressure on their fabric. The higher the applied print, the desired image on the fabric is obtained better.

Calendering method is preferred in the whole sector. It is used for finishing and coating methods in the plastics industry. All components are put together and brought to high heat. It is then passed through the cylinders to a preset thickness.

This is actually similar to the ironing process. Similar processes are applied to make fabrics look flat and flawless. These processes are called calendering and are used in fabric, paper and in rubber coating.

Calendering Process

Calendering process is a process to make the material used have a smoother and more beautiful vision. What is needed for this are cylinders. It is used to polish the surface and close small defects. It is often used to close gaps between yarns, especially in the textile industry.

At least two cylinders are needed for the calendering process. Not all cylinders should be steel, one should be elastic. This prevents the fabric from fraying. The two most important elements for the proper progression of this process are temperature and pressure. When the process is carried out cold, the surface does not glow.

Calendering Machines

The calendering machines are optionally prepared. It can be a lot of design to be done on a fabric. Each demand is very valuable. These affect the pressure, temperature and speed ratio of the machines. Therefore, the variety of machines increases.

  • Rolik Machine; It is used to iron the fabric to iron and generally consist of two cylinders.
  • The friction machine allows the fabrics to shine well. For this, the rotating speed of the rollers is different.
  • Matting machine allows fabrics to be in a matte but soft image. Therefore, the rate of temperature is lower.
  • Goofrage machine is used to print patterns on fabrics. The pressure applied by the rollers is much more.

For many processes similar to these, engineers produce dozens of calendering machines. It has been an indispensable part of today’s textile products.
